BORN FROM
LOVE AND MADE
REAL THROUGH
ENCOUNTER
Our mission is to make the love of Christ
visible in the heart of the world.
By embracing the life of Jesus, we also embrace His mission: “He has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor” (Lk 4:18). Sent by the Church, we seek to live the Gospel concretely among the poor, the excluded, the forgotten, and those wounded, suffering, and struggling with addiction, violence, and abandonment.
The poor, in their many faces and realities, are at the heart of our mission as the Poor of Jesus Christ. Inspired by the compassion of Jesus, who always drew near to the wounded and the outcast, we desire to bring the Gospel through proclamation, service, and communion — offering not only material assistance, but presence, dignity, fraternity, and hope.
Every mission, every encounter, and every restored life becomes a living sign that God continues to act in the world—healing wounds, restoring hearts, and making all things new.
As members of a missionary Church, we place ourselves in total availability to serve the poorest, wherever the Lord may send us.
