St. Francis of Assisi
Teaches us to live poverty as freedom of heart and complete trust in God’s Providence. His witness reminds us that Christ alone is enough, and that it is in encountering the poor, the forgotten, and all of creation that we recognize the face of the Lord. In our charism, this poverty becomes a concrete path of fraternity, simplicity, and wholehearted availability for mission. In a world marked by attachment and self-seeking, we desire to joyfully witness that God alone is our true and only treasure.
St. Clare of Assisi
Inspires us to live a life hidden in God, where the heart finds its dwelling place in Christ alone. Her silent and fully surrendered life reminds us that the fruitfulness of mission is born from intimacy with the Lord and absolute trust in His Providence. As spiritual sons of Clare, we desire to be spousal souls, belonging to Jesus alone, cultivating a life of prayer, contemplation, and abandonment into the hands of the Father. It is in silence before the Blessed Sacrament, in listening to the Word, and in the poverty of heart that we learn to remain in Him alone.
St. Michael the Archangel
Reminds us that spiritual life is also a battle. In light of Saint Paul, we are called to stand firm in the faith and to be clothed with the strength of God in the midst of spiritual struggles (cf. Eph 6:10-20). In our charism, we embrace this dimension of spiritual vigilance, learning from the Gospel itself to remain in prayer and watchfulness (Mk 14:38), sustained also by a spirit of penance and fasting (Mt 17:21). In this battle, we do not walk alone: we are assisted by the powerful help of Saint Michael the Archangel, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, victor over the Dragon and his fallen angels (Rev 12:7-9). With gratitude and devotion, we renew our consecration to him and invoke him as guardian and defender of our mission, entrusting to his protection the daily struggle for fidelity to God.
St. Paul the Apostle
Saint Paul the Apostle urges us to step out of ourselves and proclaim the Gospel with courage, zeal, and total surrender to Christ. His witness reveals that the true missionary no longer belongs to himself but lives entirely for the Lord and for the salvation of souls. In our charism, we are called to embrace this same apostolic dynamism: a heart that is on fire, free, and available—one that does not turn inward, but goes out to meet everyone, especially those who are most distant and in greatest need. Under his intercession, we seek to live with courage in the face of difficulties, fidelity in following Christ, and a wholehearted availability to the will of God, even when it demands renunciation and sacrifice.
